Polly Anderson collected the penultimate trophy of the season at Guards Polo Club - the Chairman's Cup. Her Penam-Bespoke team overcame having a player sent off and then fielding a substitute to win this popular club tournament in extra time. They defeated Anthony Donovan's Los Alquimistas 6-5 on The Princes' Ground.

Penam-Bespoke's Charlie Holley was shown the red card with only two minutes remaining of the fourth chukka and the score reading 5-4 to Los Alquimistas. Despite being a 3-man team, Jamie Grayson was able to level the score, forcing a golden goal scenario. The rules also allowed for Ed Banner Eve to come on in place of Holley. Fortune was now in their favour and after a melee in the Los Alquimistas goal about a minute into extra time, Penam-Bespoke struck the winning goal.

In recognition of his strong play throughout this match though, Los Alquimistas' Temur Nadeem received the The Polo Magazine Most Valuable Player. The Polo Times Best Playing Pony prize went to Jamie Grayson for his 11-year-old mare La Paz.

A hallmark of this competition is that all teams have a game - and prizes - on this day. The sub final - for the Directors' Cup - went to Alan Fall's Mad Dogs. They defeated the Mathias' Clarita team 5-4. Meanwhile, the Farewell Trophy was a win for the de Bys Jacaranda team (rec 1/2 goal). They claimed victory over Mo Sheikh's Bridge House of Twyford. The remaining three teams played a round robin contest to decide the final placings. Dimitri Chebotarev's Ivan The Terrible came out best, finishing ahead of Konstantin Graf von Schweinitz's Porto Ronco and Ben Linstead's Bon Coeur.
